Apple App Store Terms

For applications downloaded through the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA") applies and is incorporated into these Terms:

These Gameloops Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA will control to the extent of that conflict.

Scope

These terms govern your use of any iOS, Android, or other app published by Gameloops ("we", "us") that links to this page. Individual apps may differ in their specific purpose and features — for example, local-first on-device storage, optional account creation, AI-assisted features served through our own server, or in-app purchases and subscriptions — and each app's own listing and in-app disclosures describe the features it actually has. "The app" below means whichever such app you are using; a section only applies where the app in question actually has the feature it describes. By using an app that links to these terms, you agree to them.

1. What the App Is

Each app in this family has its own specific purpose, described on its own App Store listing and within the app itself. None of them are a therapy service, medical device, crisis service, or a substitute for professional advice, regardless of their specific purpose.

2. Not Medical, Legal, or Emergency Advice

Nothing generated by an app in this family — including any AI-generated content or suggestions — is medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice, and no part of any such app diagnoses conditions or assesses risk. If you are experiencing a crisis or believe you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately; do not rely on any app in this family.

3. Your Content

Whatever you enter into an app is handled as described in that app's disclosures and the Privacy Policy — which may mean local-only storage, account-synced storage, or a mix, depending on the app. You are responsible for what you enter. Do not enter information about other people that you are not authorized to share, or use an app to harass, monitor, retaliate against, or manipulate another person — any AI-assisted feature in these apps is explicitly designed to refuse instructions or output aimed at those uses.

4. AI-Generated Content

Where an app in this family includes an AI-assisted feature, its output is generated by a third-party AI model via our server. It is a general, situational suggestion — not a verified fact, professional advice, or a guaranteed outcome. Generation may occasionally be unavailable (rate limits, provider outage, exhausted capacity); when that happens, the affected app falls back to a fixed set of generic, non-AI content so it remains usable, where it has one.

5. Accounts (Where Offered) and Data Persistence

Most apps in this family have no account or cloud backup, in which case: if you delete the app, lose your device, or reset it without a device-level backup, your local data is not recoverable by us — we never had a copy. Where an app offers account creation, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account, and may request account deletion at any time (see Contact below); content that app has not synced to your account remains local-only and is subject to the same no-recovery limitation above.

6. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Trials

Some apps in this family offer auto-renewable subscriptions, free or discounted trials, introductory or promotional offers, one-time purchases, or consumable in-app purchases. Available options are described on the relevant app's purchase screen.

Billing and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or Google Play account, where an app is on Android) at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to at purchase or, where a price change is disclosed in advance as required by the platform, the updated price.

Trials. Where a free or discounted trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription.

Cancellation. You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then. Subscriptions and trials are managed through your Apple ID account settings (Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on iOS) or, for Android apps, your Google Play account settings — not within the app itself, and not by deleting the app, which does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds. All purchases are billed and processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are handled by the platform under its own refund policies, not by Gameloops directly; we do not have the ability to issue refunds for platform-billed purchases. To request a refund, contact Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play support, as applicable.

One-time purchases. Non-consumable purchases and one-time feature unlocks are generally tied to your platform account and can be restored on other devices signed into the same account using the app's restore-purchases option, where available.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or attempt to extract any app's server-side AI provider configuration; abuse an app's API (automated bulk requests, scraping, denial-of-service); create or use accounts, where an app offers them, to impersonate someone else or circumvent a rate limit or restriction; use an app for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to use an AI-assisted feature to generate harassment, surveillance, manipulation, or harmful instructions directed at another person.

8. Availability

Where an app has local-only features, those work offline. Where an app has a feature that requires our server, an AI provider, or another online service, that specific feature may be temporarily unavailable; we do not guarantee its uninterrupted availability, even though the rest of the app keeps working.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Apps in this family are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gameloops is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of any such app, including decisions made based on AI-generated content.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as apps in this family evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the affected app's release notes and the effective date above.
